How we operate
The core promise of our endpoints is that they are offered at a fixed price, no matter how complex the target website is. This is our responsibility. For 99.9% of usage, we will absorb the cost variations, even if it puts us at a loss on some of your requests. We believe it’s our job to handle the complexity, not yours.
What we ask from you
Use the service in good faith and within the acceptable use policy. Only extract data you are permitted to access. Do not attempt to stress, degrade, or circumvent the platform. If your workload is high-RPS against bot-resistant properties, touches regulated or sensitive categories, or automates marketplace posting at scale, contact contact@uapi.nl before you go live so we can help you design for reliability and cost.
If anything becomes unusual or unexpectedly expensive, we talk first. No surprises.
Fair use in practice
Public web data such as pricing, content, news, and search results snapshots is a good fit. Local listings, brand protection, and counter-abuse are typical uses. Your own authenticated data is fine when you are the account holder. Workloads that require context include sustained high request rates to bot-heavy sites, streaming or media analytics, and regulated financial categories. Activities that are never allowed include denial-of-service, probing, credential stuffing, spam, ad or click fraud, fake engagement, unauthorized access to data behind logins, or anything unlawful.
Developer experience
Real developers read the tickets. Provide a request.id, UTC timestamps, target URL, and a minimal reproduction, and we will dig in. Make sure examples are complete and runnable.
Data transparency
Your data is yours. We don’t sell it. Our job is to be a stateless, powerful tool, not a data warehouse. We are committed to data minimalism. We don’t overstore your information. Everything we know about you, your account, and your usage is visible to you in your dashboard. We store nothing more. When you use our /execute endpoint to interact with third-party sites, you are subject to their internal policies. We act as your trusted agent in these interactions, and we encourage you to be aware of their terms. We will never exploit or misuse the data that passes through our systems in service of your requests.
